One of my bucket list items was to get to a Flying Squirrels game! I have been so proud to sponsor and work with The Flying Squirrels this season and am always so impressed to write about all they have going on at the games.
We attended last Sunday's game and let me tell you, I had as much fun as the kids and my husband , the sports fanatic , cannot wait to return.
The organization has worked hard to make these family fun day's with opening activities for the kids along with interactive events between innings . Last week, Q94 sponsored Cody Simpson and he performed before the game. The girls were going wild ! There were posters, Tshirts and screams galore! Cody was so charming and made a second appearance where the fans could wave and take pictures ! The Squirrel Staff also get guests on the field in-between innings to play games ! There were beach balls bouncing in the stands, music and cheering for our team!
Our son loved it so much , he danced along with all the music and cheered and screamed when the home run was scored!
The stadium is super comfortable and the tickets and food are well priced ! The staff were all accommodating when I kept asking where to go and the fans were all there to have a great family fun day and get ready for some baseball!
We will definitely be back this season ! I hope those of you that have not gone yet, give it a shot! It is a great day! Check the schedule for the next home games along with the special events they have including a few more nights of fireworks ! We always have a set of tickets to give away to Sunday Home games!
