Changing Mirror Wills | Dementia Support Forum

My husband and I drew up mirror wills before he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, with our daughter inheriting in the event of our deaths. He is now in a Care Home and I now wonder what will happen if I die before him as I was told that if I changed my will for my daughter to inherit, bypassing my husband, it would be deemed as deprivation of assets. The state is paying for my husband's care as he was Sectioned but if I die before him, what will happen to the house and assets? He is in no position to benefit and I don't want my daughter to lose out. If anyone else has come across this situation I would be very grateful for advice. Many thanks
