SLEMAN, KOMPAS.com - Nissan Juke merupakan SUV dengan desain eksterior unik sebagai identitasnya. Bentuk yang berbeda daripada mobil lainnya ini membuat Juke memiliki pengagumnya tersendiri.
Sejak awal diluncurkan mesin Juke memang berkubikasi kecil, hanya 1.500 cc tidak seperti mobil SUV lainnya. Sehingga, selain tangguh mobil ini juga memiliki kelebihan irit bahan bakar.
Ditambah dengan transmisi CVT, maka konsumsi BBM menjadi jauh lebih efisien karena transmisi tersebut memang mengupayakan dapat mengeluarkan output besar meski tenaga putarnya rendah.
Sehingga, Juke bisa dikendarai dengan mode ekonomis. Tidak heran, hanya dengan putaran mesin rendah mobil ini dapat melaju dengan kencang pada kecepatan konstan dan medan jalan yang rata.
Namun, karakter transmisi CVT kurang mendukung untuk medan terjal layaknya area perbukitan. Sehingga, sebelum membeli Nissan Juke perlu memperhatikan biaya perbaikan transmisinya.
Hardi Wibowo, Pemilik Aha Motor Yogyakarta mengatakan transmisi CVT seperti pada Juke dan sejenisnya memang didesain khusus untuk medan perkotaan yang landai.

“Jika digunakan pada medan berbukit maka ada risiko kerusakan pada CVT-nya atau bisa mengalami gagal menanjak, terlebih lagi pengemudi tidak piawai memanfaatkan momentum, atau tidak ambil ancang-ancang,” ucap Hardi kepada Kompas.com, belum lama ini.
Hardi mengatakan maka dari itu transmisi CVT perlu perawatan yang ekstra dalam hal melakukan penggantian oli.
Jika sampai oli transmisi telat diganti, maka risikonya akan terjadi kerusakan pada komponen utama pada CVT yakni puli dan sabuk bajanya karena terjadi selip.

“Maksimal penggantian oli transmisi CVT setiap poin deterioration mencapai angka 100.000 atau jika dikonversi ke jarak tempuh sekitar 40.000 Km,” ucap Hardi.
Beberapa transmisi CVT mengalami kerusakan akibat telat melakukan penggantian oli serta pemaksaan terhadap kemampuannya dalam melibas tanjakan ekstrem.
“Saran saya, transmisi CVT menghindari tanjakan ekstrem karena risikonya bisa sampai pada kerusakan, dan solusinya hanya dengan cara dilakukan penggantian,” ucap Hardi.
Beberapa solusi perbaikan transmisi CVT pada Juke adalah dengan menggantinya satu gelondong atau dicari persamaannya.
“Untuk Juke harga transmisi CVT barunya sekitar Rp 40 juta, bisa juga menggunakan persamaan milik Datsun kondisinya baru sekitar Rp 17 jutaan, perbedaanya sedikit tapi aman untuk digunakan,” ucap Hardi.
